This Milsons Point apartment is a refined example of high-end residential joinery, where craftsmanship, materiality and coordination were central to the success of the project.

Working closely with Aatos Design and Moneghittie Built, Repose delivered all bespoke joinery throughout the apartment, including the kitchen, bathrooms, laundry and integrated storage. In addition to joinery fabrication and installation, our scope extended to the coordination and delivery of all stone surfaces and custom glass elements, ensuring consistency across materials, detailing and finishes.

At the heart of the home is a sculptural kitchen defined by soft curves and precise detailing. The island features curved joinery with vertically grained timber veneer, paired with Taj Mahal quartzite benchtops (perfectly honed by our friends at All Stone & Glass). Careful planning was required to integrate stone returns, shadow lines and appliances seamlessly within the cabinetry, while maintaining clean sight lines through the open-plan space.

Throughout the apartment, the joinery language remains cohesive yet restrained. Custom shaker-profile doors, timber-edged panels and integrated handles were meticulously detailed to align grain direction, proportions and junctions across different spaces. Storage was designed to feel architectural rather than additive, with full-height cabinetry and concealed elements allowing the material palette to take precedence.

Bathrooms and wet areas continue this approach, with bespoke vanity joinery, stone tops and custom mirror and reeded glass features coordinated and installed as part of our scope. Tight tolerances and curved conditions required close collaboration between trades, particularly where stone, glass and joinery intersect.

This project reflects Repose’s holistic approach to residential joinery - not just fabrication, but end-to-end coordination of complex materials to deliver calm, resolved interiors with longevity and clarity.
