Photography: Nat SpadaNestled in the heart of Mosman, this sophisticated heritage home was reimagined through a collaborative effort with the team at Bone Made and Davine Bathrooms. Repose was engaged to deliver a comprehensive suite of custom joinery elements, weaving functionality and crafstmanship seamlessly into the home’s refined aesthetic.
Our scope included the kitchen, breakfast nook, laundry, wardrobes, lounge room shelving, built-in buffet in the dining area, and custom bathroom vanities. We also coordinated and oversaw the stone supply and installation to ensure consistence in quality and detailing throughout, including the stone bath surrounds with stone from Avant Stone.
The cabinetry throughout the home is finished in Porter’s Paints ‘Washed Linen’, a soft and versatile hue that adds warmth and elegance to each space. Taj Mahal Quartzite was selected for the benchtops and splashbacks, providing natural variation and luminous veining that complements the subtle palette.
In the kitchen, gently curved joinery elements and custom paneling elevate the central island, while concealed steel rod shelving in both the kitchen and lounge room offers a minimalist take on open storage. The breakfast nook features built-in banquette seating with integrated storage, nestled into the bay window for a cozy. family focused setting.
The dining room buffet was designed to sit in harmony with the home’s traditional detailing, while providing ample functional storage. In the laundry, we focused on clean lines, concealed cabinetry, and stone continuity. Each wardrobe was tailored to suit the room layout, featuring internal layouts configured to everyday usability.
The bathroom vanities were designed as a standout feature in each wet area, incorporating tight curves, subtle shaker detailing, and bespoke proportions. We also collaborated with Opulent Finishes on the wainscoting installation, which layers beautifully with the joinery and enhances the home’s architectural character.
From concept to installation, this project reflects our commitment to delivering bespoke, detail-driven joinery that feels timeless and highly considered.
